it isn’t everyday that I am invited to sunny florida to photograph the dreamiest weddings…from beginning to end; this wedding was more than magical! & I would do alllllll of the traveling & working all over again & again & again for this couple!
Michael & Nicole invited my girls & I (& my sister!) out to my new favorite destination, TradeWinds Island Grand Resort in St. Pete Beach for their big day with their beautiful girls & their incredible friends & family! just see for yourself a small glimpse into the fun from the start of the day with makeup artist Amanda with The Destiny & Light Hair and Makeup Group right to the very end!
Amanda was incredible to work with; not only is she insanely talented, but she has the most kind, warm spirit & just so fun to work with! of course she shared stories from her perspective as a Florida native & we were asking alllllll the questions…. I reeeeeally look forward to {speaking this into existence, mmmkay} working with her again!
once the hair & makeup portion for the bride was complete - it was time for some tear-jerking, heart-melting special moments…from special keepsakes for their little girls, to personalized gifts for the parents…these two really made some magical memories on such a special, beautiful day!
it’s been a dream of mine to travel to beautiful destinations & photograph my amazing clients in beautiful locations; even better when it’s my personal idea of paradise on the beautiful turquoise Gulf of Mexico….& when it’s a client that I just adore with my whole entire heart, my gosh. this “job” was everything to me; it was right on time - as was Nicole when we first met two years ago!
it was everything you’d imagine it would be…the weather was mild & the scene was breathtaking, the crowd was intimate, & the cocktails & treats were delicious… there were a lot of really special, sentimental moments; but those are for the big final reveal to the happy newlyweds! so let’s get onto why you’re all here; you wanna see that beach wedding! to the main event; shall we?!
from the ceremony, we went right into a gorgeous cocktail hour right along the beach with that incredible view of the Gulf sunset…how sweet is it that not only was I hired for a dream gig like this, but my little girls & my sister were invited……. it isn’t everyday that there’s sweet keepsakes for myself in a client’s gallery, but sweet Nicole & her little girls {& all of her people} loved on my babies on this magical day & I got beautiful photographs of it to cherish forever! what a gift!
their gallery is FULL of stunning shots like these, chock full of lots of laughter & love, their most important people on the biggest day of their lives as a family; it’s like you can feel all of that magical love goodness In every single frame!
what’s the dreamiest of all dreams weddings without a gnarly reception to photograph? this crowd was all about shakin’ their groove thangs & it inspired the heck out of me! I had soooo much fun chasing everyone around the dance floor! just look for yourself…I would do it alllllll over again, in a heartbeat, for these two!
