oh, what a transformation at Salon Lola!

my friend Jess opened up Salon Lola 3 years ago in July & she’s always had it SO beautiful & cozy. I remember her first birthday shoot for the salon & thinking how gorgeous it was! little did I know, almost 2 years later Jess put more of her flair into her space & I am here. for. itttt!

I was so tickled when Jess asked me to come back to photograph the salon, she had told me about a few of the changes {& you know i’ve been following her posts on instagram & facebook with the updates too!} but I was blown away when I finally got to see it in person!

I LOOOOVE it when I get to be doin’ my thang in these gorgeous salons…there’s something about being in that environment that’s just magical! or maybe it’s nostalgic for me, I dunno. I had so much fun hanging with & getting to know Kiersten & Sara, the other stylists at Salon Lola! we shared some laughs, some “drunk walks” {iykyk} & I got to love on these gals a little for their biz & you all know how much I love that!

Sara Monserret is Salt Lake City native, specializing in hand-painted balayage, & just the sweetest, most humble thing you’ll ever meet!

Jess fisher Is the owner of salon Lola & specializes in curly hair, dimensional color & extensions. she is so supportive, a fearless natural leader, & she is truly such a kindhearted soul.

Kierston Michelle is specializing in vivid colors & vibrant reds & her fiery energy is unmatched! she’s got a light about her that’s upbeat & uplifting!

you really cannot go wrong with any of these ladies as your new stylist…

each of them bring their own special strengths & insane talent to the table….but that’s not all they have to offer; their vibe is down to earth, warm, it’s inviting, & they like to make it fun…what more could you ask for?! after all, these stylists basically become a big part of our self love/self care rituals, right!? we need to be surrounded by those kinds of people in alllllllllllll the aspects of life, not just our tight circle.
