a gift for the Pettifords

Abbey & Anthony were gifted a beautiful session to celebrate their sweet little one & it just so happened to be scheduled as my first outdoor session since 2020 & just before the first of the spring mini session event! the first day we had scheduled ended up being super gross with rain & chilly winds…our backup date ended up being absolute perfection. & I couldn’t help but notice all of the new life blooming all around, even in such simplicity….it couldn’t have been a more perfect synchronicity!

although I didn’t spend but a little time with these two first time parents {to be}, they’re going to make for one incredible mommy & daddy duo! shoot, Anthony offered to take on my kiddo for camp this week {had we had a little more notice, she would have loved this - but we will definitely be keeping our eyes peeled for more opportunities for the kiddos - you can too right here}

I was basically a piece of the pollen that was attacking my eyeballs & they just embraced each other in the tranquil peace {& maybe it was a weeeee bit awkward being in front of the camera - but listen, it’s awkward for everyone - can you even tell!?}
